This is sweet to let us know anyway. Oh, and f*ck Mercury and their $250!
Yeah, take time to relax a bit after Istanbul, Chris looked a bit tired (and drunk, ok) in London. I hope you will all come fighting fit this summer for the festivals

I was there at the show and I was wondering if anyone could help me with a song that played before the band came on. The lyrics go something like "Carry on, when I feel, you and I, hope you're satisfied". It sounds like Phoenix, but it's not, unless it's an unknown b-side...Here is a clip I recorded of it at the show.
25/03 BIRMINGHAM / BARFLY
26/03 LEICESTER / THE CHARLOTTE
27/03 SHEFFIELD / THE CORPORATION
30/03 LIVERPOOL / CARLING ACADEMY
31/03 GLASGOW / KING TUTS
02/04 OXFORD / CARLING ACADEMY
03/04 LONDON / ELECTRIC BALLROOM
04/04 BEL'ZIK FESTIVAL / BELGIUM
Some musicians are meant to be heard but not seen - merely an auditory experience and nothing more. Berlin's IAMX, on the other hand, isnt merely a band... it's an event - a full-on aural and visual attack with the dynamic and inimitable Chris Corner (of Sneaker Pimps) leading the charge.
With the European marketplace going bonkers for his blend of dramatic synth-rock, darkness-infused pop, and intricately-constructed indie dance, IAMX has been headlining festivals in Austria, Belgium, CZ Rep, Poland, etc. and sharing the stage with Placebo, Franz Ferdinand, and The Cardigans among others. ike an 80s electro glam soundtrack to a Jan Svankmajer film or an almost unfathomable hybrid between the sexy swagger of Prince and the cool and collected respectability of Roxy Music, IAMX mixes Chris erotically-charged vocals with music that is, at once, frantic yet controlled.
With such strikingly cinematic songs as the waltzy drama of "President" to the percussive sexual predatory dirtiness of "The Negative Sex" to the indelibly infectious synthpop of the sweeping "Spit It Out", The Alternative is exactly just that - the alternative to the cookie-cutter music scene that dominates the airwaves. Considering the rabid reception he receives from his performances, it seems it's time for the masses to latch onto The Alternative.
New York looked wonderful. They got Sue, those lucky buggers!
I can see my little head bobbing in the front!
New York was wonderful...every show you did there. Come back soon, America's still waiting!
updates?
Yeah, maybe something about The Luminaire? Or the nice interview you promised with our questions?
Thank youuu
